The Annual Offensive Line Clinic Home Page

Dear Coach,
The Annual Offensive Line Clinic was held Friday May 19 and Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati Ohio. Many say it was the best COOL clinic ever and we had over 400 High School, College, and Professional Coaches that came to town for the two day clinic.  This year we had people from 38 states, 200 plus schools, and 3 Countries attend our world famous line clinic.
The 2017 Annual Offensive Clinic brought the finest minds in offensive line play from around the country to Cincinnati for the two day clinic. Friday Night featured three of the top college coaches in the country and one of the best coaches in the CFL. Scott Fuchs Offensive Line Coach from Wyoming presented on the A Gap Power, while Mike Gibson, Offensive Line Coach Edmonton Eskimos gave a great presentation on marrying the run game from the Piston and the Gun. The third speaker on Friday Night was Brent Key Offensive Line Coach at Alabama. Brent covered Zone and Gap Runs using WR Jet Motion. The final speaker on Friday was Tim Drevno Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach at the University of Michigan. He covered the Auxiliary Run Game with many great run concepts. What a super Friday Night!
On Saturday we had 8 NFL coaches speak. I have been able to secure a tremendous group of coaches. As always, I covered two plays that worked and given defenses trouble in 2016. Bill Callahan, Offensive Line Coach for Washington Redskins gave a tremendous presentation on pass protection. Frank Pollack, Offensive Line Coach Dallas Cowboys covered the Stretch Play, then went over drills and fundamentals to teach it.  Coach McNally presented on plays that worked in 2016 from his extensive film study. Scott Peters who goes across the country teaching linemen how to use their hands to be better lineman gave another outstanding session.  Kevin Mawae (16 Year NFL Veteran Lineman and now coach), gave a great session on Backside Blocking.  Mike Munchak (NFL Hall of Fame Player, and Veteran Coach), covered Pass Protection and the Inside Zone. Howard Mudd was incredible.  He covered pass protection using he Short Set, and other unconventional things he has done over the years that work.
Don’t worry, if you missed the clinic, you can get the DVD’s.  As coach McNally said, every coach in America should get the DVD’s of the clinic to study.  Thank you to all the coaches that came and speakers to make this a great clinic
Next year Circle your Calendar for May 18 & 19, 2018. The 3rd Saturday of May! The 2018 COOL Clinic.
